Man charged in Gifford St. homicide

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A 22-year-old Norfolk man has been charged with murder after another man was found shot to death on Gifford Street Saturday evening.
Police responded to the 7600 block of Gifford street around 7 p.m. for reports of a man who had been shot. Medics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
Austin T. Greening, who lives at the same address where the shooting took place, was arrested and charged with murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony, according to a press release from Norfolk police.
Police have not released a motive or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
