MacArthur Memorial set for dedication

NORFOLK. Va. (WAVY) - The MacArthur Memorial Center is set be dedicated Oct. 13.

The $6 million facility has been under construction for more than a year. The 16,000-foot building will have state-of-the-art exhibits showcasing the life and accomplishments of General Douglas MacArthur.

The center is located across the street from the MacArthur Center in downtown Norfolk.

More than 50,000 people a year visit the MacArthur Memorial each year.
