NORFOLK, Va. - Another member of the Vick family is in the news.
Marcus Vick, the younger brother of embattled NFL player Michael Vick, got 20 days in jail for violating his probation.
When Vick appeared in a Norfolk courtroom Thursday morning, he was found to be in violation of his probation, stemming from an October 2008 DUI conviction.
A spokesperson for the Norfolk Commonwealth's Attorney's Office told WAVY.com Vick failed to complete an alcohol education program, tested positive for marijuana at an appointment, missed appointments, and didn’t pay court costs and fines.
Vick was granted $25-thousand bond, while his attorney appeals the decision.
Last week, Vick's brother Michael was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles. Michael served time in prison for running a dog fighting ring.
