NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk city leaders showed residents of the St. Paul's community their plan for neighborhood revitalization.
The vision is to transform the area into a mixed-income, mixed-use community that would replace the current 618 public housing units.
Planning Director Frank Duke said, "Addressing the flooding problems that exist in the area, so that's one of the key components here. Another key component is providing access into the area."
Those who attended Monday night's open house got to see the plans for the first time.
