NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk Public Schools' superintendent wants the community to take part in a public forum Wednesday night on a five year plan.

In order to create that plan, Dr. Samuel King is asking for your help.  King wants the community to take part in a public forum Wednesday night on the five year plan. From parents, to teachers, staff and residents; school leaders want to hear what your goals for the division are.

"What are the strengths based on various perspectives," asked King. "Weaknesses.  What are those opportunities for improvement and threats that exist out there, in terms of moving student achievement forward for us and our school system."

Wednesday night's forum will be held at Ruffner Academy Middle School, on May Avenue in Norfolk.  The forum starts at 6 p.m. and it is open to the public.
