NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk fire crews were called to a home in the 3600 block of Killam Avenue early Thursday morning. They arrived on scene shortly before 2 a.m.

According to Battalion Chief Julian Williamson, the fire started in the living room and was contained to that area. Investigators determined the cause was electrical in nature.

A person in the home received burns while trying to pull out a burning couch, said Williamson, but the fire victim refused treatment.
