NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Farm Fresh presented a check to four area foodbanks on Wednesday to mark the start of "Hunger Action Month." They said they are committed to fighting hunger in Hampton Roads.
The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia said food donations are down, and they desperately need help.
"One of the things we are going to do is have all of our stores serve as drop-off locations for non-perishable items that anyone wants to donate. We'll make it convenient by having them in all of our stores," said Farm Fresh President Gaelo de la Fuente.
