Crews respond to Norfolk house fire

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Officials say a vacant home caught on fire Friday afternoon in Norfolk.

Police officers patrolling the area around the 200 block of Glendale Avenue noticed smoke coming from a vacant, two-story home, according to  Capt. Mike Hicks with Norfolk Fire and Rescue

Fire and Rescue crews responded to the fire at approximately 1:30 p.m. and there were no injuries reported. The extent of damage is not known.
