NORFOLK, V.a (WAVY) - The Chrysler Museum is about to undergo a multimillion dollar renovation.
The renovations will begin in July, with some of the museum's exhibits closing to the public in in the following months.
In Jan. 2013, the entire museum will close to the public.
Curators say every gallery will be updated, including the world-renowned glass exhibit. The museum is also expanding its location by adding two wings.
All 30,000 pieces of art will be moved to protect them during the construction. They'll go to temporary locations.
The renovations are expected to be complete in early 2014.
