NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A bond hearing was held on Monday for Reid Evans, a 22-year-old wide receiver for Old Dominion University accused of rape.
According to Amanda Howie with the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, Evans' bond was set at $25,000, and he was ordered not to leave the state, not to contact his co-defendant and not to use drugs or alcohol. In addition,
Howie said Evans must comply with pre-trial services.
Evans, along with co-defendant Jack Ly appeared in court for an arraignment on June 25, for an incident that occurred on June 17 in a campus dormitory. According to ODU spokeswoman Jennifer Mullen Collins, the female victims did not attend ODU.
