NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A baby bongo was born at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk on Monday.
Emma is doing very well, the Zoo reports. Her mother is named Essie and her father is named Thunder.
Bongos have a reddish-brown coat and white stripes. They are members of the antelope species.
