Amtrak offers special $19 fare

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Amtrak is offering a sort-of holiday special to celebrate the new Virginia service to and from Norfolk.
Between now and December 30, you can purchase tickets for only $19 for travel between Norfolk and Washington, DC.
The round-trip train will bring passenger rail service to Norfolk for the first time since 1977.
Travel must be booked by December 17 for travel between December 12 and December 30. Advance reservations are required a minimum of one day prior to travel. The special fare includes the inaugural train on December 12.
Passengers can book their travel via AmtrakVirginia.com , the Amtrak iPhone app or the Amtrak Android app or by calling 1-800-USA-RAIL.
