NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A house along Peterson Street in Norfolk sustained heavy damage after a fire ripped through the building Thursday afternoon.

According to Williamson, 30 firefighters responded to the scene to fight the blaze.
Nearly 45 minutes later, crews were in the process of overhauling the fire. All occupants of the house made it out and no injuries were reported.
