NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A man is suspected of stealing $5,000 worth of jewelry from a store on Memorial Day at the Gallery at Military Circle Mall in Norfolk, police said.
The suspect went into Intrigue Jewelers and browsed through the items behind the glass. He then inquired about a gold chain.
As the salesperson went to get the chain for the suspect, the suspect reached over the counter, opened a display case, and took a tray full of jewelry from the store, according to police.
