Norfolk house fire on Chesapeake Blvd.

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Flames ripped through a Norfolk home as fire crews kept it from spreading.

The fire broke out just before 8 at a home on Chesapeake Boulevard near Robinhood Road. Firefighters say it started on the first floor and melted some siding on the house.

No one was home at the time. No word on what started the fire.
