Three displaced in Newport News fire

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Three adults were displaced following a house fire on Dresden Street in Newport News Wednesday.
According to Newport News Fire Chief Scott Liebold, crews were dispatched to the 700 block of Dresden Street just after 8 p.m. for a house fire.
When they arrived, they saw the home was well-involved with heavy flames.
The home is condemned due to extensive damage and three adults were displaced.
There were no injuries reported and Liebold said unattended cooking materials may be to blame.
