NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Police have released a composite sketch of a man believed to have information about a missing Newport News woman.

According to Holly McPherson with the Newport News Police Department, 37-year-old Kathleen Haley has not been heard from since Sept. 1 and could be endangered.

Haley's family told WAVY.com last week they last saw her Aug. 22 and a missing persons report was filed Sept. 7.

The man in the composite sketch was seen in the area of Haley's apartment in the 2800 block of West Avenue Sept. 4, according to McPherson.

Police say Haley's vehicle has been parked at her residence and has not been moved and items from her home are missing, according to a press release from Newport News Police. Additionally, police say Haley's 1-year-old Boxer Molly is missing.

Haley is described as standing 5' and weighing 110 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair.  Anyone with information regarding Haley's whereabouts is asked to call Police Communications at 757-247-2500 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
