NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Police in Newport News have identified a third person wanted in connection to a shooting along Chalice Court last week.
Holly McPherson, spokesperson for the Newport News Police Department, said officers were searching for Cordaro Rayez Parham, 25, of Newport News.
On March 21, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Chalice Court around 12:40 p.m. in reference to a shooting. According to investigators, an adult male and adult female answered the door when several black males approached the home.
The suspects entered the home and held the male victim at gunpoint for some time, McPherson said. He was then shot, and the suspects fled the scene.
A vehicle matching a suspect description was spotted by police and a brief pursuit ensued in the area of Richneck Road and Jefferson Avenue, McPherson said. When the chase ended at an apartment complex, investigators said the suspects fled from the vehicle.
The first suspect, 33-year-old Terence Javon Allen, was located not long after the chase and placed under arrest, facing the following charges:
On March 22, McPherson said a second suspect was identified as Cornelius White, 20, of Newport News. He remains wanted on the following charges:
Wednesday, McPherson identified the third suspect as Parham. He is wanted on the same charges as White at this time.
