NN man killed in early morning shooting

NEWPORT NEWs, Va. (WAVY) - A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in the North End of Newport News.
Police were called to the 300 block of Circuit Lane around 2:36 a.m. for reports of shots fired in the area. While they were en route, the call was upgraded to a shooting.
Officers arrived at the scene to find Larry Andrews, 32, of Newport News shot and lying in a parking lot. He was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased, according to a press release from Newport News police.
Information regarding a possible suspect or motive in the shooting has not been released.
Homicide detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this fatal shooting to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
