NEWPORT NEWS, Va (WAVY) - Walmart plans to hire 400 workers for its new Walmart Supercenter and Neighborhood Market stored opening in Newport News.
Walmart has opened a hiring center to make it easy to apply. You can stop by the hiring center located at 10524 Jefferson Avenue in Newport News Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. The center will also be open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Walmart Neighborhood Market manager Kim Tolbert told WAVY.com they are hiring for both full time and part time positions, in all areas of the new stores, including supervisory roles.
The new stores are slated to open this winter.
