Endangered Newport News located

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a 57-year-old Newport News man who was last seen leaving Riverside Hospital Monday has been found.

According to Holly McPherson with the Newport News Police Department, Eddie Lee Baker was last seen at approximately 2:30 p.m. when he was discharged from Riverside Hospital.

Baker told hospital staff he was being picked up by a friend. His sister contacted authorities when he did not come home Monday afternoon.

Baker was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, a black jacket, brown shoes and a Virginia Tech baseball cap. He is bald at the top of his head but has shoulder-length dark brown hair on the sides.

McPherson said Wednesday Baker was located at Riverside Hospital where he was admitted. The circumstances surrounding his admittance to the hospital are unknown.
