NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Newport News police will be conducting a DUI enforcement operation from March 17 (Wednesday) to the 20th (Saturday), to check for and apprehend impaired drivers.
From 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., officers being paid overtime through a grant, will patrol and administer sobriety tests. Impaired drivers will be arrested and charged.
