NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A man died early Sunday morning after a gunman shot him near the Coleman Place neighborhood.
Norfolk Police Department spokeswoman Karen Parker-Chesson said officers responded to the call in the 1500 block of Spruce Street about 3:45 a.m. They arrived to find an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medics took him to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. Monday morning, Parker-Chesson identfied him as 42-year-old Harold Anthony Tucker.
Parker-Chesson said witnesses saw a man leave the area in a white sedan just after the shooting. Police Anyone with information should call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
