SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va. - The Southampton County Sheriff's Office has found a missing man.
Mr. George Lenton Smith age 80, of Branchville, had been missing since approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 5th.
Smaith was en route to South Hill to pick up a part for one of the Branchville Volunteer Fire Department trucks, but he never arrived to meet his contact in order to pick up his part.
Smith was last seen driving a lime green stake side type utility truck with "Branchville Volunteer Fire Department" and the number 26 written on the side of the cab in reflective lettering.
Smith was last seen wearing a blue shirt, black pants, a baseball cap and glasses.
As of November 6th, Smith safely returned to his home.
