VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach police are looking for a man accused of sexually assaulting a female outside her residence int he 8000 blk. of Atlantic Ave. Saturday.
Police say the incident happened around 2:30 a.m.
Beach police tell WAVY.com, the victim was sitting on her front porch when she was approached by an armed man who grabbed her, forced her into the backyard and sexually assaulted her. The suspect then fled the area, according to police.
The suspect has been described as an unshaven, black male, 5'9" tall, in his early 20s. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and dark jeans. A composite sketch of the suspect can be seen to the left of this story.
Police say they later saw a subject matching that description in the area of 26th Street, but the subject immediately fled on foot and has not yet been apprehended.
