Paramedic accused of sex assault

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va - Beach police arrested a paramedic accused of sexually assaulting a minor at his residence since February 2009.
According to police, the juvenile female alerted an adult that she'd been sexually assaulted by 42-year-old Steven Mark Frick at his Virginia Beach home in the 2400 blk. of Litchfield Way.
Frick was a family acquaintance. He's been charged with two counts each of Aggravated Sexual Battery, Forcible Sodomy and Object Sexual Penetration. He's currently being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond.
Police tell WAVY.com Frick has been a paid paramedic with the City of Virginia Beach since 2004. Due to the nature of the charges, he has been placed on administrative suspension without pay.
