Larceny suspects sought in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. - Suffolk police are crediting Crime Line tips with helping them identify one of two suspects wanted in connection with a credit card larceny and fraud investigation. They now hope those callers can help them locate the suspect they were able to identify.

Police are attempting to locate Michael Todd Wiggins, 33, of Wexford Drive. Warrants have been filed against Wiggins on one count of Credit Card Theft, one count of Credit Card Forgery, one count of Credit Card Fraud and one count of Criminally Receiving Goods.

According to police, Wiggins and another unidentified suspect stole a woman's purse from a vehicle in the Sentara Obici Hospital parking lot on Godwin Blvd. November 3.

The suspects were then seen on surveillance using the woman's stolen card at a nearby 7-Eleven. The suspects purchased $79 worth of merchandise with the card.

Wiggins is described as 5'11" and 244 pounds. Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Wiggins to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
