Ports. man charged with soliciting sex

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - In a joint investigation involving state and federal authorities, a 24-year-old Portsmouth man was arrested on June 25 for using the internet to solicit for sexual activity.

Virginia Beach police tell WAVY.com Ryan T. Earley is accused of soliciting sex from a minor and showing his genitals via a webcam to the supposed minor.

Earley faces two counts of Using a Communication System to Facilitate Certain Offenses Involving Children and 1 count of Indecent Liberties. Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office will also charge Earley.
