Man charged with beating elderly couple

NORFOLK, Va. - A Norfolk man charged with beating the elderly now faces charges.
Brian Jordan, 29, is charged with First Degree Murder, Aggravated Malicious Wounding, and Burglary after police say he attacked Marion Wheeler. who later died from injuries sustained in the beating, and his wife inside their Sunset Drive home in the Bayview area back in April.
Wheeler was 90 years old; his wife survived.
Jordan is also accused of beating another elderly woman
just blocks away, the day before the Wheelers were attacked.
He faces charges in that incident as well.
Jordan will be in court next month.
