NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - A 22-year-old member of the Dump Squad gang was sentenced Thursday to 90 months in prison for being an accessory after the fact to murder.
Tina Whalen of Newport News pleaded guilty in June in connection with the 2006 death of Terrell Williams.
Court documents reveal that Whalen harbored and gave aid to criminal, preventing police from arresting him. The criminal was a member of the Dump Squad, a criminal street gang that grew from a national gang known as the Bloods and operated in the Ridley Circle, Harbor Homes and Disckerson Court areas of Newport News, Va.
