Industrial accident seriously injures 1

HAMPTON, Va. - A construction worker got stuck in a conveyer belt Tuesday morning at a construction site outside the gate of Langley Air Force Base, Hampton Fire Public Information Officer Anthony Chittum told WAVY.com.

Chittum said a fellow employee pulled the 35-year-old man to safety. The man suffered injuries to his arm and was bleeding from his mouth, continued Chittum. It's unclear if the man suffered internal injuries as well.

He's been transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center. No word yet on his condition.
