FedEx truck crashes killing passenger

CHESAPEAKE, Va. - A FedEx truck ran off a Chesapeake road and crashed Friday afternoon, killing the passenger.
Chesapeake police spokesperson Gus Mojica tells WAVY.com it happened at 4:25 p.m. on Fentress Airfield Road and Long Ridge Road. Mojica says the driver veered to avoid oncoming traffic, went off the road and wrecked.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital where his condition is unknown.
The passenger, 38-year-old Andrew Copeland of Virginia Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no word if the two were wearing seat belts.
