NORTHAMPTON COUTNY, Va. - Health Officials are asking residents in the Eastville area of Northampton County on the Eastern Shore to biol their water for drinking and/or cooking.
Public works officials say recent tests show high bacteria
levels in the water and that a sample taken from the Eastville area
has tested positive for E-Coli.
Officials say the bacteria can cause bad stomach cramps,
pain, vomiting and diarrhea.
Officials say It could take about a week for crews to flush
and clear the system.
