NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - In day three of the trial for two Blackwater contractors, jurors got to take a look at the car involved in the deadly shooting of two Afghan civilians in May 2009.

Jurors walked around the vehicle through this a fence outside the Norfolk federal courthouse and took notes.

A bartender testified that former Blackwater contractors, Justin Cannon and Christopher Drotleff, were very drunk and kept ordering more beer.

The driver of the car testified that he stopped because he saw an accident ahead of him and wanted to help. When he took off, he said Cannon and Drotleff started shooting.

The defendants claimed self-defense, saying the car came barreling towards the contractors.

Cannon and Drotleff are being tried on murder, assault and weapons charges.
