HRT bus catches fire with 9 on board

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Firefighters have determined the cause of a fire involving a HRT bus.
The bus suffered a mechanical failure and caught fire in the 1800 block of Laskin Road in Virginia Beach around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Nine people were on the bus, but no injuries were reported, according to Battalion Chief Tim Riley.
The bus is destroyed.
