House fire under investigation in JCC

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - Flames and smoke were showing from a James City County home when firefighters arrived on scene Thursday.

Renee Dallman with James City County said the fire sparked just after 10 a.m. in the 9100 block of Barnes Road. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within 20 minutes.

All occupants were out of the home and no one was injured.

Dallman said the Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
