PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - There may be something for everyone looking to have fun along the Elizabeth River this weekend. And all the fun is not limited to Norfolk's Harborfest. If you're looking for a variety of music and some cool activities for the children just take the tunnel, the interstate or even a ferry ride to the Portsmouth Seawall Music Festival.
The Seawall Music Festival kicks off Friday with live music from 6 to 11, featuring the Good Life Band and The Original Rhondels.
The music starts at 2 p.m. at the North Ferry Landing along the river on Saturday. The headliners hit at 7:30 p.m., including, Marcus Young, Carl Carlton, Cuba Gooding Sr. and The Delfonics.
And, you'll be able to see the fireworks from the Portsmouth side starting at 9:30 p.m.
