HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - 10 On Your Side was live in Hampton with eyewitnesses after a reported tornado went through the area.

Ava Hurdle reported live from Victoria Boulevard in a neighborhood where trees were down, power lines were down and power outages were noted.

Later, Ava moved to the Hampton Yacht Club where boats up to 30-feet-long in trailers were lifted from trailers and put back down sideways. Ava reports debris was everywhere, along with many damaged boats. The most damage done to boats were the ones on land, rather than those in the water.

Anne McNamara reported live from Queens Way in Hampton where vendors' equipment for the Blackbeard's Pirate Festival was strewn about the streets and debris littered the streets.
