HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s niece was in Hampton Monday evening talking about the importance of voting.
"We want everyone to get out and vote and to vote God's values, so we say, 'Vote His values,'" Dr. Alveda King said.
King spoke at Hampton Christian Elementary School and stressed following religious beliefs when voting. The presentation was part of the Concerned Women for America She Votes 2012 project.
The conservative CWA is the nation's largest public policy women's organization.
