HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - A Hampton man was seriously injured early Saturday morning when he crashed the moped he was riding.
Around 1:46 a.m. the man was traveling northbound on King Street when he lost control of the moped and crashed. Police responded to the scene and found him lying in the road, according to a press release from Hampton Police.
The driver was transported to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.
The crash is under investigation.
