HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a restaurant robbery early Wednesday morning.
Officials say it was just before 1:00 a.m. when the suspect entered the Waffle House in the 2600 block of W. Mercury Boulevard and demanded money from the cash register.
An employee complied and the suspect fled the scene. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 25 years of age and six feet tall. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing with a light colored jacket.
