HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - According to Hampton's Emergency Management Coordinator, Hampton will most likely not reach qualifications for federal or state aid following the June 1 tornado.

The city estimated the tornado's damage at about $4.3 million.

According to the City of Hampton's Tami Back, the city has repaired nearly 100 damaged traffic signs, and more than 40 tractor trailer loads of tree limbs have been transported to the Virginia Peninsula's Public Service Authority.
