Man shot in Walgreens parking lot

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - A man suffered a gunshot wound outside the Walgreens on West Mercury Boulevard Sunday night.

Hampton Police Division spokesman Sgt. Jason Price said the shooting happened in parking lot at 919 W Mercury Blvd. The adult victim suffered a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

Medics took him to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
