Windsor facility hiring

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A job fair Wednesday afternoon to hire for several positions at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters' new Windsor facility was well attended.

Thousands of people lined up for the job fair at the Hilton Garden Inn at the Suffolk Riverfront Wednesday afternoon.

The job fair was held from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The coffee company announced in October 2011 it would hire 800 workers over the next five years.

The Windsor facility will be hiring machine operators, maintenance technicians, facility cleaners and technicians, material handlers and quality assurance roles.

The facility will assist in the creation of Keurig single-cup brewing products.
