Footvolley athletes to compete

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Top-rated athletes will be making a stop in Hampton Roads for the 2011 Pro Footvolley Tour Virginia Beach Open that will take place at the Oceanfront this weekend.
Footvolley is like volleyball and soccer combined. Top male and female athletes from the U.S. and Brazil will be competing.
In addition, soccer players from local Hampton Roads colleges will be playing.
The competition will take place on July 16 and 17 at 31st Street and the Oceanfront.
A free footvolley clinic for kids ages 11 to 17 will take place Friday from 6 to 7 p.m.
