EASTERN SHORE, Va. (WAVY) - State police confirm a fire reported Monday evening on the Eastern Shore has been classified as arson.

According to Accomack County dispatchers, the fire was reported at the intersection of Wessells Farm Road and Saxis Road just after 9 p.m. in Temperanceville.

The fire adds to more than 50 arson cases reported on the Eastern Shore since November 2012.
