Fire damages Va. Beach restaurant

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach fire investigators are looking into what caused a fire to break out at the Kazmo restaurant just after midnight Wednesday.

Smoke made its way into the Puppy Palace next door, in the Green Run strip mall. Several of the animals received smoke inhalation. All of the puppies were transferred from the business.

There were no other injuries.

Investigators believe the fire started in the restaurant's kitchen.
