Event to focus on sickle cell anemia

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - The City of Hampton and Peninsula Association for Sickle Cell Anemia (PASCA) presents the 21st annual Afrikan American Festival this weekend at Mill Point Park.

The festival includes live music, arts and crafts, clothes and ethnic food from more than 60 vendors.

Live music includes K'bana Blaq on Friday, Brick on Saturday evening and on Sunday, gospel artists Leslie Dupress and CMO Musiq take the stage.

Admission is a $4 donation, all proceeds go toward supporting PASCA.
