CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - The second of two 15-year-old boys involved in a dirt bike accident Thursday evening died Friday afternoon as a result of his injuries, Chesapeake police said. The first boy died Thursday.

Police say Brandon Wade Barnett, 15, of Wild Cherry Court and Kenneth Conner, 15, of the 1700 block of Tuck Street, collided while driving their dirt bikes just before 7 p.m. on Tuck Street off Johnstown Road Thursday.

Barnett died at the scene. Conner was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and died a day later, said Officer Dorienne Boykin with the Chesapeake Police Department.

Neither teen was wearing a helmet, police said.
