VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli spoke to a packed luncheon crowd at Regent University Wednesday afternoon. He spoke to the crowd about the health care and EPA lawsuits.

He also spent time talking to 10 On Your Side about his thoughts on light rail.

"I have long felt it's an extraordinary waste of money. Dulles rail is the biggest boondoggle in the history of Virginia," he said.

He said the trains typically incur cost overruns and are outdated. "They're historically inefficient. Why would we apply a 19th century technology for a 21st century transportation system?"

Just last week the Federal Transportation Adminstration demanded answers from Hampton Roads Transit.

As to whether or not his office is investigating, Cuccinelli's lips are sealed.
